  i feel the real problem with the wt cult concerning child abuse is it happens to children not adult men.

  I feel the real problem with the Wt cult concerning child abuse is it happens to children not adult men. Notice I didn't say adult women because they don't care about adult women either. I remember a C.O. telling me that my experience of being abused as a child made me stronger as a person. This shows most men in this cult don't get it, it devastates a child for a lifetime. Let's all face it. The term child abuse is a very weak word for what is really happening. Instead it should be called rape of a child and in many cases brutal rape. If brutal rape of men was taking place in the Wt. cult this problem would have been addressed immediately without hesitation on the GB part. But because it is children they just don't care. This cult has a long history of ignoring the children who are trapped in this organization. I remember when I was a small child back in the early 60's I was told time and time again by many old adults children did not belong here. How unloving and unconcerned many in this cult were. It was not until the mid to late 70's that the Wt cult showed any concern for the children. That was because now they had another avenue for new members for the future and for making more money with their free labor. Just think what would be taking place if 1000's of men in this cult were being brutally raped every few years? There would be an uproar within the cult. But with children nothing. Why? Because the cult couldn't care less about the children of the cult. Instead they have featured magazines about the children who gave up their lives for lack of medical care because of cult teachings. I feel this is the cancer that affects the Wt. cult and we who have walked outside the cult box should be using the word rape or brutal rape instead of child abuse. Child abuse is just too weak of a word for what is really happening. Maybe by using this terminology many more eyes will be opened. Take care. Still Totally ADD

  Women going topless in NYC.

  within the past couple of days, women in nyc are going around topless in public.

  i read in a news article, that in new york city, there are no laws against women going topless in public.the article says that family people are getting offended and they want to stop topless women in public.

  in europe women show their breasts on on tv, the beach, and breast feeding in public.

  Thank you flipper for being the voice of all the victims of the Wt. Cult. For those of us who have been through this kind of abuse it is hard to put it into words sometimes but you hit the nail right on the head. Again thanks for your words of concern. Still Totally ADD

  As a child raised in the cult I was told by my parents to call everyone in the hall brother or sister so and so. If I did not I was in big trouble. It was the old hair brush on my back side for me. So it was out of love, I mean fear that remember to do it. Still totally ADD

  I remember my last elders meeting I was at in Nov. 2010 a letter was read about putting the Wt. on the congregation bank account. I was only weeks away from walking away. Put I was thinking how blindly the elders follow what the Wt. has to say. Key words the Wt. uses is simplifying things, less burden on the elders making things work more efficiently. When elders hear that they are ready to jump on the band wagon. This was the reason for the Wt. name being on the bank account at the time. I saw how they was taking over all aspects of the congregation moneys. I am so glad I am not part of that anymore. Still totally ADD

  i always felt that there was a level of suspicion around those "raised in the truth".

  that we were always suspected of being jws to make our family happy.

  I hated it when someone would ask me if I was a born-in or a convert. When I told them I was a born-in they would always say I had it easy that my faith was not as strong as theirs. Now that I know better I would have asked them Oh was you made fun of everyday in school for 4 years because you was a JW. Did the teacher try to force you to salute the flag and when you didn't she would make fun of you and then punish you in front of the whole class. Then tell you better not tell your parents or you will be in bigger trouble. Did you have to fight off a group of kids who would seek you out to beat you up while the teachers looked the other way. Or how about the P.O. who tried to rape my friend and when I caught him doing it he ran me down and choke me until I past out. Then a few days later told me not to say a word because he could come in at night and kill me. Yes I had it so much easier than you converts who came in after you worked a life time making money then at your old age decided to become a JW because you did not want to die at the big A. I was a sacrificial child of the WT Cult and so was all the other kids raised in the Wt. Cult. As children they are the ones who have to make their stand weather they believe the Wt. or not. They are the ones that end up getting hurt because the Wt. never cared a bats ass about the children. I remember when I was a child one of the older ones at the KH told me that I should not even be there because I was a kid. Unloved in the congregation and unloved in the world. What a horrible way to grow up. Boy did I just blow off some steam. 61 years old and this is all I can remember about my Jw childhood. Still Totally ADD

  Why are demons so easy to make friends with?

  one thing i have been wondering lately regarding a teaching of the org (and other christians) regarding demons... why is it they so easy to contact, make friends with and have them full on involved in your life on an almost immediate and daily basis?.

  why is it you can pray to god, jesus, angels, whoever, during an entire lifetime of offering them loyal devoted and unswerving service yet not one time in say 50 years of this lifestyle will you ever get a response, hear a peep, see even a wisp of a vision or even get the faintest hint of unquestionable interaction from god..?.

  yet on the other hand demons are ready and willing to engage and befriend you in a heartbeat, touch you, talk to you, even molest you in your bed at night, give you gifts, talents, charm and worldly success simply after buying an old mirror, a bit of tatty furniture or a dishevelled book from some dusty old second hand goods store, or simply watching a scary movie or listening to a sexy rock song... .

  Elders are Complicit with WT Society in Child Abuse Scandals- Gonzalo Campos Case

  of course, most of us realize this.

  however sometimes even on this board sometimes threads have stated that the jw elders have been occasionally painted as the " fall guys " who take the rap for the wt society leaders - which of course is true - to a degree.

  however- that being said , many times elders have failed to protect - or even have failed to advocate for child abuse victims when it has been within their power to do so.

  Hi flipper, I know of two cases of child abuse in my cult life that elders swept under the carpet years ago until I came along and made it known. The Wt. has worked very hard to keep this all under wraps. Like all cults it's all about them and they can care less about everyone else. What they may say is not what they do. I remember a conversation I had with a CO around 2005 about child abuse and he told me it was not that bad in the Wt. org. That there was only a few cases of it worldwide. I said to him I must know all of them when I told him of 7 cases I knew about. He had this scared look come over his face and then he changed the subject. The crack of doubt got bigger for me at this time. When in the org. I never could understand why the Wt. did not take this head on and be honest about it. I now realize it is a CULT and this is what CULTS do. Take care. Still Totally ADD

  On the History Channel the other day they played the doc. of the rise and fall of Nazis Germany. One of the things that caught my attention was all young boys whether they was ready or not was required to be part of the Nazis Hitler youth group. This way they could indoctroate them in the Nazis way at a very young age. The mind set of Hitlers Germany was a Cult. The things he did is very similar to the mind set the WT has. Demonize everything that is not like them and if you don't like it and leave you will die. Remember the WT is a Cult. Still Totally ADD

  Looking for ideas.

  i received an email from one of the elder in the local congregation.

  i am not dfed so there is not a problem there, i am just an aggressive fader.. one of the last things i said to this elder before i stopped all activities was that i do not agree with the borg taking all the assets from the congregations.. here is what the elder said in the email:.

  "i recently saw something while looking through the jw broadcasting for the month of may and i though about you.
